How To Wash Aulora Pants With Kodenshi The Right Way?

In this article, I thought of sharing the proper way to wash and dry the Aulora Pants with Kodenshi.

Me wearing the compression pants

Because the pants is made mainly using Kodenshi fiber, proper care should be given when washing.

Warning! Do not ever wash the pants with a washing machine.

The spin dry feature of a washing machine will definitely rip or tear the pants.

The following are 4 things you have to remember when cleaning the pant:

1) Hand wash the pant with water or gentle laundry

2) Use light detergent or baby shower foam

3) Hand squeeze excess water from the pant

4) Drip dry the pants at a cool place away from direct sun light.

To protect the pants, remember:

  • Avoid tumble dry and direct sunlight
  • Do not use a brush to clean it
  • Do not use bleach
  • Do not iron the pant

What happens if you were to accidentally dry the pants under the hot sun?

Nothing will happen but don’t do it too often or the pant may loose its elasticity and becomes rough.

Aulora Pants care instruction

Useful tip: After you’ve washed the pants, it is best not to use a clothes hanger to dry the pants.

I have a few customers that had the unfortunate experience of getting the pants snag on the hanger after drying.

If you were to pull it too hard, the sharp edges on the hanger may rip the pant material.

So why take the risk.

What I do with my Aulora Pants is air dry it on a chair.

For men

As of mid July 2018, a compression pants for men design has been launched in Malaysia and Singapore.

Aulora Pants with Kodenshi Men

The design for men is slightly thicker compared with women’s design.

The cutting is also straighter and the design focuses more on the knee and calf areas of the leg.

Hi Khatijah, how are you? I believe we’ve spoken on WhatsApp before.

Based on your body measurement, the Aulora Kodenshi size XL is right for you. You can use the table below as a guide.

If accidentally wash it in machine how

    • Lynn 21/04/2018 at 3:44 pm - Reply

      Hi Chris,

The reason I don’t recommend machine wash the Aulora Kodenshi pants is because the spin dry may tear the material. Did you notice any tearing on your Kodenshi pants after machine wash?

Even though you machine washed the pants, the ultra-fine ceramics in the Kodenshi fiber is still there. Meaning, the pant still have the slimming and fat burning properties. If you notice tearing, the pants is still good but doesn’t look so nice. You have to wear it underneath your garment.

What happen if accidentally scratch the pants and got a small hole there?

      Hi Kezia,

For small hole, you can try to apply some clear nail polish on it. That may prevent the hole from becoming bigger.

I accidentally washing the pant using washing machine and dry it under the sun…. so how?

    • Lynn 26/06/2018 at 1:21 pm - Reply

Hi Shin Wei, if you put the Aulora pants in a wash bag and wash it in the washing machine, there shouldn’t be any problem. Even if you dry the Aulora pants under direct sunlight, it is not a big issue either. The Aulora pant is still effective. The fine ceramic particles in the Kodenshi fiber will not come out. But if you dried the legging under hot sun too many time, the pants may loose its elasticity and become rough.

Hi Lynn, should we take smaller one size since this is compression pants. What if we grow slimmer, will the pants loosen n lost the effects? I’m 176cm..fall under 2xl category but planning to take xl.. Is it OK?

    • Lynn 24/07/2018 at 10:36 am - Reply

Hi Christy, if your measurement is between the borderline of size 2XL and XL, you can choose XL. But if your measurement is at the high side of size 2XL, I do not recommend you take XL reason being the pants will be very tight and won’t be comfortable. If you took size 2XL and slim down to size XL, the pants will still work because the far infrared ray emitted by the material works by virtue of skin contact. If you slim down further to size L, then you may have to get a new pants. By then, you have already reached your slimming goal 🙂

Hi Doris, that shouldn’t be a problem. Make sure you don’t dry the Aulora Pants under direct sunlight.

    Hi Lynn

I hand washed it with hot water after first time wear. Will it damage the fine ceramic particle? The water is quite hot as I am in confinement now

    • Lynn 10/06/2019 at 10:12 am - Reply

Hi Therese, you don’t have to wash the Aulora Pants with hot water. Normal tap water will do. You can use the baby diaper detergent to wash the pants.
