Common mistakes

Most people know how to use a facial sheet mask.

But sometimes, we did certain mistakes when using the mask without knowing it.

The following are 5 common mistakes when using facial sheet masks.

1) Storing your mask vertically

Storing your sheet mask vertically is not an issue.

However, the mistake that we commonly did is not massaging the essence in the sheet mask package evenly before applying.

When you’ve kept the sheet mask vertically, all the essence will flow down to the bottom of the sealed package due to gravity.

In order to spread the essence on the sheet mask, massage the content in the package to spread it evenly.

2) Applied on unwashed face

The second common mistake is applying the facial sheet mask on unwashed face.

When you applied the mask before washing your face, all the dirt and impurities will get absorbed into the pores of your face.

This is bad!

The solution is simple, wash your face before applying the mask.

3) Leaving it on for too long

The third common mistake is leaving the facial sheet mask on for too long.

Some people will even leave the sheet mask on throughout the night!

When you are using sheet mask, do not wait until the mask is dried before removing it.

This is a very common mistake.

When using the Beyul Moisturising mask, you should remove the sheet after 15 – 20 mins after applying.

Even if the mask is still moist, remove it from your face.

If you applied the facial sheet mask until it is totally dried, it will dry your skin causing your face to produce more oil.

4) Washing your face after applying

The fourth common mistake is washing your face AFTER applying sheet mask.

Don’t do this.

If you were to wash your face after applying the mask, you would have washed away all the essence from the mask.

5) Throwing away left over essence

The fifth common mistake is throwing away the leftover essence.

This is such a waste because the leftover essence can still be used.

Usually, I will rub the unused essence on your hand, toes and heal.
