In this article, I will share with you the top Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) centers in Malaysia.
But before I proceed, please know that I am not affiliated with the companies or treatment centers in any way, nor have I been in the past.
The list below was compiled independently and all sources I used are cited with a link to the website where I found the information.
What is EECP?
According to flowtherapy.com:
Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) is a non-invasive, FDA-approved outpatient therapy to reduce the intensity and frequency of angina-related chest pain.
EECP treatment is administered through the use of three sets of cuffs that are wrapped around your calves, thighs and buttocks.
The cuffs are set to inflate and deflate following your heartbeat using an electrocardiograph or ECG.
What are the benefits of EECP treatment?
According to Cleveland Clinic website, your healthcare provider may recommend EECP if you have:
- Chest pain
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
EECP can also help other conditions, including:
- Cardiac syndrome X (a type of angina)
- Cerebrovascular disease
- Heart failure
- Kidney (renal) failure
- Left ventricular dysfunction (an early stage of heart failure)
- Lung disease (pulmonary disease)
- Peripheral artery (vascular) disease (PAD)
As for the cost of the EECP treatment, there is no fixed pricing for the procedure.
The full treatment package can only be determined after a doctor’s assessment and consultation of your health condition.
There are also preliminary tests to be conducted such as ECG Test, Microcirculation Test, Body Composition Test etc.
However, the EECP is not a one time treatment session because in order for the treatment to be effective, you have to go through a treatment duration spread out from 30 – 35 hours.
But one thing is for sure, EECP treatment in Malaysia is not cheap.
You have to set aside a budget of RM10,000.00 to RM15,000.00 for the full treatment session.

Two of the biggest challenges in the adoption of the Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) treatment in Malaysia are:
- The amount of time needed to complete treatment course
- High cost of the treatment
