3 Maqnifiq Collagen Side Effects – Nutrients, Hydration & Protection

Thank you for visiting Mommy Lynn Blog. My name is Lynn and I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Mommy Lynn with Maqnifiq

Above is a picture of me with a box of Maqnifiq, a type of collagen supplement drink that I take everyday for my skin health.

Not too long ago, I received a message on WhatsApp from a person from Australia.

Australia enquiry

He wanted to know if I sell the Maqnifiq collagen drink.

I told him, yes, I do sell the collagen drink.

Apparently, he got to know about Maqnifiq from testimonials shared on Facebook.

His wife wanted to know whether Maqnifiq can help to heal redness on her skin.

His wife has used a Vitamin C serum and had developed a skin allergic reaction.

Her dermatologist has told her that her skin issue was a minor epidermal skin loss.

She wanted to know if the Maqnifiq collagen drink or the Shiruto vitamin can help her.

Above is a screen capture of our WhatsApp text messages.

I proceed to explain to him the differences between Maqnifiq and Shiruto.

“Maqnifiq and Shiruto have 2 different function. If your wife’s skin allergy is due to sun UV, then taking Maqnifiq will help to build up her skin collagen and moisture. In other words, taking the Maqnifiq collagen regularly is like putting on sunscreen on her entire body 24 hours a day.”

“Shiruto is more for her immune system. If her allergy is caused by over-active immune system, then taking Shiruto will help to calm down her immune system so her immune cells won’t attack her own skin cells.”

He then told me his wife has been taking 100% hydrolysed marine collagen but found that it made her skin very tight especially around her eye area.

The skin dryness around her eye has caused her discomfort and slight pain.

Below is a picture of her wife’s skin condition. I blanked out her eyes to protect her privacy.

Dry skin condition

Many people do not know that not all collagen drinks are created equal.

If you are taking pure hydrolysed marine collagen, you are getting the collagen supplement into your skin.

But you have left out one very important factor…skin moisture.

Can you improve the moisture level in your skin by drinking lots of water?

Drinking lots of water to keep your skin moist may not be the best option.

Because of that, there are so many brands of skin moisturizing cream and lotion in the market.

Maqnifiq collagen drink is very unique because its formulation also focuses on locking moisture in your skin.

The Hydration element in Maqnifiq is achieved by using Phytoceramide.

What is Phytoceramide?

According to www.consumerlab.com:

Phytoceramides (or “plant” ceramides) are waxy lipids derived from plants such as wheat, rice and sweet potatoes. Supplements containing phytoceramides are promoted to hydrate and “plump” the skin for a more youthful appearance.

The function of Phytoceramide in Maqnifiq is to improve your skin hydration and reduce skin dryness.

Will taking Maqnifiq help to improve his wife’s skin condition?

I responded honestly to him and told him there is no guarantee because all of us have different skin condition.

However, the only way to know for sure is to try it.

The Australian guy was willing to give Maqnifiq a try 🙂
