Period pain relieve
Can the Aulora Pants with Kodenshi from Japan by BE International help to relieve period pain?
Ever since I’ve published my personal experience wearing the Aulora Pants, many of my blog readers have asked me the above question.
What causes period pain or menstrual cramps?
According to mayoclinic.org/:
Menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea) are throbbing or cramping pains in the lower abdomen. Many women have menstrual cramps just before and during their menstrual periods.
For some women, the discomfort is merely annoying but manageable.
For others, menstrual cramps can be severe enough to interfere with everyday activities for a few days every month.
Period pain is caused by muscles in the uterus tightening to help the body get rid of the lining it doesn’t need.
This process is a natural part of the menstrual cycle, but it can feel uncomfortable.
Symptoms of menstrual cramps include:
- Throbbing or cramping pain in your lower abdomen that can be intense
- Pain that starts 1 to 3 days before your period, peaks 24 hours after the onset of your period and subsides in 2 to 3 days
- Dull and continuous ache
- Pain that radiates to your lower back and thighs
Some women will also experience nausea, loose stools, headache and also dizziness.
Period pain or menstrual cramps can be a big issue for some women.
There are ways to feel better when you have period pain.
You can use a heating pad on your belly, take a warm bath or do light exercises like stretching.
You can checkout the following page from Yoga Journal on the 7 essential stretches for period cramps.
Are there any over the counter medication that you can take for period pain?
Some women do find pain relief by taking medicine like Panadol Menstrual, but it’s always important to check with a doctor or pharmacist before taking anything.
Are there any natural or non medication way to help relieve period discomfort?
The good news is, I do know of some women wearing the Aulora Pants with Kodenshi have experienced pain relieve while having their period.
The above is a picture of me wearing my Aulora Pants when working out.
How can the Aulora Pants help to relieve period pain?
Apparently, it has to do with the far infrared ray (FIR) emitted by the pants material.
If you didn’t know, the Aulora Pants is made using the Kodenshi fabric technology from Japan.
The Kodenshi fabric has ultra-fine ceramic particles incorporated into the fiber.
As the pants material touches your skin, it will absorb your body heat and emit natural far infrared rays into your body.
As it turns out, FIR can help to relieve period pain.
According to the National Library of Medicine, a pilot study was conducted on far infrared ray on Primary Dysmenorrhea.
What is primary dysmenorrhea?
Primary dysmenorrhea is the cramping pain that comes before or during a period.
From the paper published in the National Library of Medicine, the researchers concluded:
“The application of FIR increases abdominal temperature and blood circulation and reduces muscle tension, leading to the relief of menstrual pain. Related studies also indicate that local heat treatment can alleviate dysmenorrhea.”
You can read the full study paper here.
Will the Aulora Pants help to relieve your period pain?
Honestly, I am not sure because the results that you will experience wearing the Aulora Pants are different compared to everyone else.
Nonetheless, based on the pilot paper published in the National Library of Medicine, far infrared ray can help to relieve period pain.
Since the Aulora Pants is capable of emitting far infrared ray, wearing it when you are having your menstrual probably can help to relieve some period pain.
But the only way to know for sure is to try it.
