My husband and I have been building our network marketing business by partnering with BE International since March 2018 as one of the company’s Independent Business Owner (IBO).
We did quite well in the business.
Our trip to Shanghai, China was fully sponsored by BE International when we qualified for the BE Lifestyle Travel campaign.
BE Lifestyle Travel campaign is a sales campaign held twice a year where the qualifier can get to travel overseas free of charge!
This is one of the many benefits building the BE business.
The BE business opportunity has a wide range of product for the health and wellness market.
The range of product from the company consist of:
- Aulora Series with Kodenshi garment (Aulora Pants, Aulora Socks, Aulora Panties, Aulora Boxer, Aulora Basic Top, Aulora Scarf, Aulora Arm Sleeves and Aulora Seamless Bra)
- Belixz functional food product (Shiruto, I-Vxion, Livcore, Befil, SlendMeal Pro, SlendGlow, Zencoso and Maqnifiq)
- Beyul Skin Care Series from South Korea
- Beyang Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG)
As an active IBO, we have personally used all the product from BE.
What was the reason I created this blog?
Well, it is to document our learnings in our amazing journey with the BE family.
Ups and downs
In the BE business, just like with any other conventional business, there are always ups and downs in the journey.
I want to share a story with you.
Once my husband and I had a meeting with a guy name Eric from Petaling Jaya (PJ) to share with him the BE International business opportunity.
Back then, Malaysia was still under the Movement Control Order therefore the meeting was conducted on Zoom.
Eric was single and has been working for a couple of years since he graduated from college.
Due to the uncertainties caused by MCO, Eric was looking for ways to generate an alternative income stream.
He contacted us after reading an article published on this blog and we scheduled the Zoom meeting with Eric.
During the Zoom meeting, we started off by getting to know Eric better.
I asked about his background, family, work, his interest etc.
I then proceed to share with him the BE business opportunity slides and marketing plan.
When I reached the presentation slides where it showed all the Royal Crown Council Ambassador (RCCA) from BE International, Eric asked me how much does a RCCA makes from BE.
This is not the first time someone asked me this question.
If you didn’t know, RCCA is the highest ranking you can achieve in the BE business.
BE International was started back in end 2017.
As of today, BE International has more than 65 RCCAs.
If you have never done a direct sale business before, you won’t appreciate how amazing that achievement is.
On average, BE International recognised one RCCA every month.
What’s amazing was, the number of RCCA produced during MCO was higher compared to before MCO!
When Eric asked me what is the income of an RCCA, I wanted to show him a screen shot of the income statement of an RCCA.
I know how much a BE International RCCA makes monthly because our mentor, Cyndy is one of the earliest RCCA with BE.
To motivate us, Cyndy has shared a screenshot of her income statement with us.
Cyndy was right…seeing her income statement did motivate us to work harder.
My husband and I now believe what is possible from a network marketing business if you were to partner with the right direct selling company.
However, I didn’t want to give a false impression to Eric.
Not everyone has what it takes to reach the RCCA rank.
Don’t get me wrong, anyone can become RCCA…but not everyone has the determination and grit to reach it.
I don’t know what is Eric’s commitment level in building an alternative income source.
I don’t know how big is his dream.
I don’t want to give Eric false hope.
I know of many MLM companies that entice new members with the promise of driving luxury car, owning large houses and going on international holidays.
The rewards of building a network marketing business are real because we’ve experienced them ourselves.
Let’s take international travels for example.
As of today, through the BE business, my husband and I have qualified and travelled for free to:
- Hokkaido, Japan
- Melbourne, Australia
- Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
- Osaka, Japan
- Seoul, South Korea
- Taipei, Taiwan
- Hong Kong & Macau
- Perth, Australia
- Shanghai, Hangzhou & Suzhou, China

New people may think that they can achieve all that in a short period of time if they were to join the MLM company.
Unfortunately, many people are not willing to put in the hard work to build their business.
Network marketing is a business and if you are not willing to work hard and sacrifice, you will not see any results.
When new people do not work hard and did not achieve the results they expected, they will start blaming the MLM industry as a whole.
They will start calling MLM a pyramid scheme or a scam.
I don’t want that to happen to Eric.
Therefore, I chose not show Eric a BE International RCCA income statement.
I told Eric it does not matter how much money a RCCA makes from BE.
What’s more important is, what’s the real reason he wants to create an alternative income stream and does he believe BE International is the right vehicle to achieve his dream.
Equally important, is he willing to partner with me and my husband and be part of our team.
After the Zoom meeting, I followed up with Eric just to find out how he feels about the BE business opportunity.
Unfortunately, he did not response to my WhatsApp messages.
No response even my messages have double blue tick.
I have been “ghosted“.
If you have never built a network marketing business before, know that this is very normal.
Most of the people that we shared the business opportunity will not do anything or will ignore us when we tried to get back with them.
This is normal and it is part of the journey.
We are just looking for a few people that can see the potential of network marketing and are willing to partner with us.
If your prospect it not the correct person, it really does not matter if you were to show him how much money a RCCA makes because at the end of the day, he will blame you if he does not make the same amount of income even though he did not put in any effort in building his own business.
