In this article, I will be sharing the story of network marketing / MLM industry leaders from Malaysia.
For your information, my wife and I have been building our network marketing business since March 2018.
The direct selling company that we partnered with is call BE International.
BE International is registered company which has the Akta Jualan Langsung (AJL) license from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs or KPDNHEP to conduct its business.
BE now has international offices and distribution channel in Singapore, Brunei, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
One of the most popular product from BE is the BElixz Shiruto functional food from Japan.
Most probably you’ve heard of the product because it has gone viral on social media for the last couple of years.
For our business, I’ve created an online brand for my wife which is Mommy Lynn.

In the BE business, just like with all the other network marketing business opportunity, there are certain rankings.
The highest ranking at BE is call the Royal Crown Council Ambassador or RCCA.
How do you get to RCCA level?
The criteria for you to reach the RCCA rank is to have a minimum of 7 leadership lines with a set income received from BE for a period of 24 months period.
The criteria are actually quite high, that is why only a handful of people are able to achieve it.
If you are lucky enough to meet a BE International RCCA, you know he or she a is high caliber leader in the network marketing industry.
How many RCCAs are there in BE?
Let me explain.
BE International was setup at end of 2017.
It is a relatively young company but it is dynamic and able to adapt quickly to changing market condition, therefore the company has been growing very fast.
At the time I’m writing this article, there are already 49 RCCAs!
Most of the RCCAs actually came out in 2020 and 2021 when Malaysia was under Movement Control Order (MCO).
You may be wondering, who are the people reaching the RCCA level?
What are their background?
That’s the reason I want to write this article which is to share their story.
In this article, I’m going to share the story of a logistic business owner and his wife who was a marketing executive from Malaysia.
They are RCCA Kelvin Yeap and Cyndy Gooi.
Cyndy Gooi once dreamed of being a businesswoman, perhaps running a fashion boutique or pet shop.
Her dream never materialised due to lack of capital.
Her husband, Kelvin had a logistics and construction business, and through him, Cyndy learned that being a traditional businessman was not as glamorous as she had thought.
Since university, Kelvin dream of driving a luxury car and living a comfortable life, and he thought running a business would be the way to achieve that.
However, after running his traditional business for over 12 years, his life was the opposite of what he wanted.
Kelvin was always busy, stressed out and worried about his business being affected by factors beyond his control such as economic crises.
As a homemaker, Cyndy decided to give BE business a try after learning about the potential of MLM.
BE was a great opportunity for a housewife because it was a low risk business that required low capital and it came with a full package such as a system, guidelines, and most importantly, mentors.
As a businessman, Kelvin actually welcomed the BE business opportunity.
According to Kelvin, the basic business model is still the same.
Only difference is that the traditional business is a B2B model while direct selling is a B2C or business to consumer model.
MLM business has a huge potential because of scalability of network and income, something that is difficult to achieve in a conventional business.
Both Kelvin and Cyndy have an interesting story,
Initially, Cyndy struggled to sell BE products and close deals.
However, after she personally experienced and benefited from BE products, her confidence grew and that was when she finally realised that the key in the business is to love and care.
Sharing is caring. She soon received a lot of positive feedback from her sharing.
People appreciated her for helping them. She enjoyed the simple joy of sharing.
Unlike Cyndy, Kelvin didn’t face any initial challenges in the BE business.
As a traditional businessman, he understood any business will have problems.
But the problems they encountered in BE are minor compared with conventional business.
In his former business, a small mistake could cost huge loss.
But at BE, they have uplines and the company’s customer support to help them solve their issues.
Kelvin and Cyndy both agreed that choosing the right business opportunity is essential for success.
This is a comment from Kelvin that I wanted to share:
“Choosing the right company is like choosing the right life partner for a happily ever after life, where there’s a lot of understanding and few relationship problems and both focus on building a happy family and being great role models to our children.”
There you have it, the story of BE International RCCA Kelvin Yeap and Cyndy Gooi.
