What is Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)?
According to Wikipedia,
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a long-term autoimmune disorder that primarily affects joints. It typically results in warm, swollen, and painful joints. Pain and stiffness often worsen following rest.
As far as I know, there is no cure for RA.
The best thing you can do for people that have RA is to help them with pain management and also help them to increase their mobility.
What is Rheumatoid Arthritis in Malay?
RA is actually known as keradangan sendi rheumatoid in Bahasa Malaysia.
A few days ago, a business associate of mine shared with me a video testimonial of an old lady with RA.
She tried a pair of wellness pants from Japan and managed to walk up a flight of stair after putting on the legging for the first time.
The elderly lady has chronic knee pain and couldn’t walk much due to RA.
The lady in the video is speaking in Cantonese.
If you don’t understand Cantonese, it is fine.
