Where do I get ideas for blog content?
In this article, I am going to share my top 3 places to find content ideas for your network marketing business blog.
1) Books
One of the best source of content ideas is from books.
Let’s take myself and my wife as an example.
We very much cater to our target market in Malaysia.
The strategy in building our business is by building our Personal Branding through publishing content that are useful for our target audience which are professional network builders.
When it comes to books, I will read books on marketing especially in the subject of Attraction Marketing.
Attraction Marketing is great when it comes to generating leads using the internet.
One of my favourite book is called Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard.
I can open up the book, read a couple a pages and then I could create a piece of content or record a video.
What else can you do?
Well, you can Google books that are going to help serve your target audience, read them and share your thoughts.
2) Pinterest
Are you a Pinterest user?
If you are not, I would suggest you setup a Pinterest account immediately.
Pinterest is an absolute goldmine for finding content ideas and different things that you can post.
What I’ll recommend doing is go over to Pinterest and go to your boards.
I’ve got several different boards now on my Pinterest account and some of these are just for me like holidays, travelling or maybe stuffs for my children.
I also have boards specific to thinking of different ideas that I can pull up.
If I need to post something and I know that I’m not really that creative that day, I could always pull up Pinterest and check out one of the boards.
So let’s say you are looking for inspirational quotes.
Pinterest has a lot of inspirational quotes if you just want to put up something quick like on your Facebook or Instagram.
If you are in a network marketing company selling health and wellness garment, you could just go up to the search bar in Pinterest and you could type in fashion and look at all the different things that come up.
With Pinterest, the sky is the limit.
3) YouTube
If you didn’t know, YouTube is now the second largest search engine in the world.
YouTube is a great place for you to find different ideas for your content.
Here’s an example.
Let’s say I want to do a search for fashionable sports wear.
I can go to YouTube and do a search on trendy athleisure wear.
On YouTube, you can see all the different videos in the search results on trendy sports wear.
You could check out the videos and take some notes.
You can then create a video of your own on the subject.
Instant content idea!
