In this article, I will be sharing the story of network marketing industry leaders.
For your information, my wife and I have been building our network marketing business since March 2018.
The direct selling company that we partnered with is call BE International.
BE International is registered company which has the Akta Jualan Langsung (AJL) license from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs or KPDNHEP to conduct its business.
BE now has international offices and distribution channel in Singapore, Brunei, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
One of the most popular product from BE is the BElixz Shiruto functional food from Japan.
Most probably you’ve heard of the product because it has gone viral on social media for the last couple of years.
For our business, I’ve created an online brand for my wife which is Mommy Lynn.
You can follow our progress in our business from our personal blog.
In the BE business, just like with all the other network marketing business opportunity, there are certain rankings.
The highest ranking at BE is call the Royal Crown Council Ambassador or RCCA.
How do you get to RCCA level?
The criteria for you to reach the RCCA rank is to have a minimum of 7 leadership lines with a set income received from BE for a period of 24 months period.
The criteria are actually quite high, that is why only a handful of people are able to achieve it.
If you are lucky enough to meet a BE International RCCA, you know he or she a is high caliber leader in the network marketing industry.
How many RCCAs are there in BE?
Let me explain.
BE International was setup at end of 2017.
It is a relatively young company but it is able to adapt quickly to changing market condition, therefore the company has been growing very fast.
At the time I’m writing this article, there are already 49 RCCAs!
Most of the RCCAs actually came out in 2020 and 2021 when Malaysia was under Movement Control Order (MCO).
You may be wondering, who are the people reaching the RCCA level?
What are their background?
That’s the reason I want to write this article which is to share their story.
In this article, I’m going to share the story of a former restaurant business owner from Malaysia.
His name is RCCA Donny Chong.
An average person will change job 5 to 7 times during his / her working life, according to career change statistics.
However, by the time he was 27 years old, Donny Chong had changed job 23 times!
Changing bosses is like a hobby but luckily Donny finally became his own boss when he took up the MLM career.
Donny started working immediately after finishing Form 5.
He was a staunch believer that “diligence will never betray you”.
Donny believed all he needed to do was work hard.
Donny grabbed any job that didn’t require certification and did many jobs, including working as a labourer.
Every time he got a better offer, he would change job.
By the time he was 27, he had grown tired and decided to start his own business, which he attempted 3 times.
His first business failed, but the second one was rather successful.
Donny started an accessory store in KL city centre.
His business was good but he had to close it in the second year when the landlord took back the lot.
His third business was a restaurant.
For two full years, Donny was at the restaurant from 8 am to 12 am.
Then, Donny was introduced to MLM and learned about the amazing power of duplication.
According to Donny, his restaurant customers were mostly from the neighbourhood, but an MLM business allows him to reach far and beyond.
Like many people, the main obstacles Donny faced initially were his small social circle of friends and lack of contacts.
This was because Donny was a loner minding his restaurant business and his social circle consisted of foreign workers and suppliers.
This is a comment from Donny:
“Why should I be hampered by my small social circle?
Why be choosy about finding prospects? With good products and a good opportunity like BE, I can share with anyone.
Anyone can be my prospect. I just have to share with them and let them decide whether to seize the opportunity”.
With this philosophy, Donny has found that no obstacle is too big to overcome.
After being in the MLM industry for over 10 years, Donny developed his own opinion about success.
Real success is about being able to duplicate success and helping people to succeed.
A doctor or lawyer may be very successful.
A person may be very wealthy.
But it will be difficult for them to help others to be professional or wealthy like them.
MLM is different because it’s about duplication.
This is what I’ve learnt from Donny’s story.
To be successful, all you need is the right opportunity to improve your life.
Nobody can do it for you but yourself.
You just have to try.
Just like business magnate Li Ka-shing‘s incredible rags-to-riches story that teaches us to seize the right opportunities, you too can transform your life.
