In this article, I will share with you an inspirational story of a civil servant in Malaysia building a thriving multi level marketing (MLM) business locally and globally.
She was a former quantity surveyor assistant at the Malaysia Public Works Department or the Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia.
Her husband was a former national athlete and event manager.
They are Kak Rose and Abang Syful.
Which direct selling company that Kak Rose and Abang Syful partnered with for their MLM business?

Of course, it is RCCA!
They are one of the first BE International Malay RCCA rank couple in Malaysia.
In the beginning
The first time I met Kak Rose was at a company event.
She has the ability to make people feel at ease around her.
She is unpretentious, sincere and even humorous.
Before starting her MLM life, Kak Rose works as a civil servant in the Public Works Department.
Though working for the government of Malaysia has its security, Kak Rose was not satisfied with her mediocre life as an average wage earner.
Once I heard her said on stage, their life wasn’t that bad, but they were tired of having to carefully plan and budget for everything.
In the year 2009, Kak Rose and Abang Syful started to pursue their MLM business full-time.
They realised they had to make a change in order to achieve their dreams.
One thing that I learnt from Kak Rose is to have a right mentality when building a MLM business.
People tend to reject the idea of a career in MLM because of one fear.
That fear is selling products.
According to Kak Rose, “A good MLM business is about sharing. It’s like watching a good movie and recommending it to your family and friends.”
Good product must be shared
When Kak Rose and Abang Syful joined BE International in 2017, they already had an established career in the direct selling industry.
Why did they choose to start all over and commit themselves to BE International?
They chose BE International because they trust the company’s founders whole heartedly.
The founders of BE International have been in the MLM industry for decades and are very experienced and successful in what they do.

They believe that many people out there need this golden opportunity to change their lives and this thought has become their fuel to guide their network.

My personal experience
My career path is very different from Kak Rose and Abang Syful.
I am just an ordinary housewife.
I have never serve in any government department.
When I’ve completed my university studies in Australia, I came back to Malaysia and straight away went into employment.
I was a Human Resource (HR) manager and also the personal assistant to the executive director of a stationary manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur.
However, I resigned from my job when I got married to my husband and became a full time housewife and mother.
After more than 6 years not working, I tried to get back into employment but was unsuccessful due to my 6+ years gap of not working.
Out of desperation, I had to start a home business.
Without having much capital nor business or sales experience, I decided to make use of the business platform offered by BE International.
Back then, I was looking for a solution to help relieve my back ache and leg cramps.

My next goal is to achieve the Royal Crown Council Ambassador (RCCA)…just like Kak Rose and Abang Syful.
