Can Shiruto, the vitamin for our immune system helps to reduce our cholesterol level?
Based on the Shiruto product catalog, the literature shows that it can help to reduce the cholesterol level in our body.
After reading the product brochure, I did wonder, what is the ingredients in Shiruto to helps to reduce cholesterol?
To answer the above question, I decided to do some research on the internet.
To guide my research, I am using the work of CIITRA of Japan.
CIITRA stands for Control Of Innate Immunity Technology Research Association.
The active ingredient in Shiruto is none other then IP-PA1.
IP-PA1 stands for Immunopotentiator from Pantoea agglomerans 1.
It is is a wheat extract collected from a proprietary fermentation process and is an important vitamins for our immune cells.
IP-PA1 was also effective to reduce high cholesterol in our body.
One of the key function of IP-PA1 is help to reactive our macrophages.
According to Wikipedia:
Macrophages are a type of white blood cell of the immune system, that engulfs and digests cellular debris, foreign substances, microbes, cancer cells, and anything else that does not have the type of proteins specific to healthy body cells on its surface in a process called phagocytosis.
Macrophages also help to eliminate our tissue’s peroxidised low density lipoprotein (LDL), maintain intracellular cholesterol levels and delay the onset of atherosclerosis.
When our marcophages are activated by IP-PA1, it will help to reduce the bad cholesterol which is LDL level in our body.
The article above is a bit technical and I did my best to explain it as simple as I could.
